Terms of use
By installing or using PigPen, you agree to the terms below. Plain English; short on purpose.
1. Who we are
PigPen is published by Red Games ("we", "us", "Red Games"), based in Australia. Contact: rod@dailysnore.com.
2. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use PigPen on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
3. Purchases
PigPen Unlimited is sold as a one-time In-App Purchase. Pricing, currency conversion, taxes, and refunds are governed by Apple. Family Sharing is supported. Restoring purchases on a different device requires signing in to the same Apple ID and tapping Restore purchases in PigPen → Settings.
Refund requests must be made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Red Games can't process refunds directly.
4. Acceptable use
Don't try to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the bundled puzzle data for redistribution.
- Submit fake or automated solve times to Game Center leaderboards.
- Use the app or its content to harass, defame, or impersonate anyone.
Game Center submissions that appear automated may be reported to Apple, who can remove them.
5. Game Center display names
Your Game Center display name appears on PigPen's leaderboards. You manage that name in iOS Settings → Game Center. Red Games can't see, change, or delete it; if you want it removed from a public leaderboard, change it in Game Center or sign out.
6. iCloud sync
iCloud sync (PigPen Unlimited only) is between you and Apple. Red Games does not host or read your synced state. Apple's terms govern that storage.
7. Updates and availability
PigPen receives updates over the App Store. We may add, change, or retire features at any time. We don't promise the app will always be available, bug-free, or compatible with every iOS version.
8. Intellectual property
The PigPen name, logo, puzzle pack, art assets, type system, and source code are © Red Games unless otherwise noted. PigPen's puzzle mechanic is a re-implementation of Tentai Show (also known as Spiral Galaxies), a public-domain pen-and-paper puzzle. We claim no rights over the underlying mechanic.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
PigPen is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or error-free puzzles. (We try, though.)
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Red Games is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data arising out of your use or inability to use PigPen. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for PigPen in the prior twelve months — for free users, that's nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those places, the limits apply only to the extent the law allows.
11. Termination
You can stop using PigPen at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend access to PigPen Unlimited features if your purchase is reversed, refunded, or otherwise invalidated by Apple.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The App Store Terms of Service govern the channel through which you obtained PigPen.
13. Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms, we'll bump the effective date at the top of this page and call out the change in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use PigPen after the change means you accept the new terms.
